BMJ | VMI Future Health Leaders The enduring value of daily management: Empowering teams and delivering stability even during leadership change. (by invitation only)
Daily management focuses on the activities and behaviours in each department to ensure patient demand is met and abnormalities are brought to the surface and addressed by leaders and care team members. The practice builds problem-solving skills, drives incremental improvements for significant ROI, and reduces reliance on top-down directives. By engaging everyone, it creates a resilient, adaptive organization. This session will equip senior leaders with actionable strategies to embed daily management principles at all levels of their organizations. Leaders will have the opportunity to think through how they themselves can become visible champions, not just endorsers, of this approach by learning to model best practices like waste identification, visual management boards, etc.
