Do primary care quality improvement frameworks consider equity?
While Quality Improvement (QI) frameworks aim to enhance care, this study found that equity is rarely a direct focus. To prevent unintended gaps in care, this paper highlights that QI frameworks must be reworked to explicitly integrate equity to ensure improvements benefit all patients.
