Andy Hardy

Andy Hardy is Chief Executive of University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, one of England’s largest acute tertiary providers. With over a decade at the helm, Andy brings deep leadership experience in NHS finance, strategy, and transformation.

Alongside his CEO role, Andy holds key leadership positions across national and regional boards, including Chair of the University Hospitals Association and West Cancer Alliance, and Deputy Chair of the National Improvement Board, where he plays a pivotal role in driving NHS-wide improvement through the NHS IMPACT framework.

A recognised leader in healthcare and public finance, Andy is a former President of CIPFA and HFMA, and holds honorary academic appointments at both the University of Warwick and Coventry University. His work is grounded in collaboration, innovation, and improving outcomes for patients and populations.
