Specialist Registrar in Clinical Radiology and Co-founder, Biteworld

Dr. Azeem Alam BEM is a Specialist Registrar in Clinical Radiology, co-founder of the medical education platform BiteMedicine, and an Independent Board Advisor at King's Health Partners. He also serves as a Venture Partner at EWOR, a platform supporting entrepreneurs. ​

Dr. Alam graduated from Imperial College London in 2015 with a BSc in Medical Sciences with Surgery and Anaesthesia. During his studies, he collaborated with Professor Daqing Ma and Dr. Hailin Zhao, leading to over 25 publications and subsequent positions as an academic foundation doctor and academic clinical fellow in surgery. 

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Alam co-founded BiteMedicine, providing online medical education to over 20,000 students globally. This initiative earned him the British Empire Medal in the Queen’s New Year Honours 2021 for services to medical education during the pandemic. ​

Beyond his medical career, Dr. Alam is an accomplished musician and songwriter, having collaborated with major labels and artists. His diverse achievements were recognized with the Emerging Alumni Leader Award from Imperial College London in 2022.
