Catherine Schuster Bruce is a medical doctor and strategic communications specialist who operates at the cutting edge of science, technology, and media. With over a decade of experience, she crafts high-impact narratives and drives real-world change by translating complex scientific topics into clear, trusted messaging.

Catherine has advised leading organisations and venture capital firms, including Google, where she contributed to initiatives improving health information quality and automated misinformation detection across Search and YouTube — reaching billions globally.

Her diverse background includes an early career in journalism with bylines in Business Insider, Health Service Journal, and The BMJ, and she was recognised with a BJTC Award for Best TV Documentary in 2020.

Currently, Catherine balances her communications consultancy with practising medicine and lecturing at UCL’s Global Business School for Health. She is passionate about bridging the gap between innovation and public understanding to create healthier, better-informed communities.
