Catherine Stoddart has served as Chief Executive Officer of Brightwater Care Group since April 2022. A highly respected healthcare leader, she brings extensive executive experience across health, aged care, community services, and government sectors in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Brightwater, Catherine was Deputy Director General at Western Australia’s Department of Communities and previously Chief Executive Officer of Northern Territory Health. Earlier in her career, she held a number of senior leadership roles within the UK's National Health Service, including Deputy Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Nurse at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Throughout her career, Catherine has been a passionate advocate for improving outcomes for vulnerable populations and advancing workforce development across health and care systems. Her leadership has been recognised through several prestigious honours, including the 2011 Telstra Western Australia Business Woman of the Year Award and the Australian Public Service Medal, awarded in 2013 for her outstanding contribution to healthcare and innovative community health volunteering programmes.

Catherine holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Project Management.
