Christina Sothinathan
Christina Sothinathan is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as an Innovation Business Partner at CW Innovation, a collaboration between Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and its charity, CW+. In her role, she supports the Trust in deploying digital solutions, including artificial intelligence and medical devices, to enhance patient pathways and reduce clinician workload. Christina is particularly passionate about digital inclusion, ensuring equitable access to high-quality care.
Christina began her career as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2004. She advanced to the position of Clinical Lead and Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (Musculoskeletal) at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she continues to practice on a part-time basis.
Her commitment to healthcare innovation led her to NHS England, where she served as a Clinical Transformation Fellow. She also completed the Digital Pioneer Fellowship at Digital Health London, further honing her expertise in digital health transformation.
Beyond her clinical and innovation roles, Christina contributes to the development of future healthcare leaders by facilitating leadership training at Health Education England. She has also presented at national and European conferences, sharing insights on integrating digital solutions into healthcare practices.
Through her diverse roles, Christina Sothinathan continues to drive the integration of innovative technologies in healthcare, aiming to improve patient outcomes and support healthcare professionals.
