Elena Bonfiglioli

Elena is a senior digital health leader specialising in healthcare and life sciences transformation. As Health and Life Sciences Lead, she is responsible for driving strategy, advancing digital transformation with healthcare and pharmaceutical organisations, and representing Microsoft’s industry perspective across the EMEA region. She works with a community of more than 250 professionals to accelerate the adoption of technology across health and life sciences.

Over the past decade, Elena has played an active role in healthcare policy, health technology innovation and multi-stakeholder collaboration. She was elected to the HIMSS Europe Governing Council in 2017 and has led initiatives focused on Health 4.0 and the digital transformation of healthcare.

Elena also established the European Cloud in Health Advisory Council, a vendor-neutral C-suite forum created to advance cloud-enabled innovation in healthcare. Her work brings together healthcare leaders, technology organisations and policymakers to explore how digital innovation can support more connected, effective and sustainable health systems.
