Prof. Jenny Shand is a leading expert in health services research and system transformation, dedicated to building collaborations that bridge health, social care and community sectors. She serves as Director of UCL’s Rapid Service Evaluation Team (RSET) and leads major programmes focusing on health inequality, linked‑data analytics and service redesign. Jenny’s career spans strategy development, innovation support for SMEs, and partnerships across local government, the NHS and academia. Her work forefronts tackling complex system‑wide problems—particularly the gaps between organisations that impede equitable care. A Non‑Executive Director at Care City, she also brings extensive experience in building research capacity and delivering real‑world evidence to drive tangible improvements in healthcare.
