Dr Julian Nesbitt is the Founder and CEO of Dr Julian, a leading digital mental health platform transforming how therapy is accessed and delivered across the UK. A former A&E doctor turned GP and sports physician, Julian’s frontline experience inspired his mission to improve accessibility to high-quality mental healthcare.

Under his leadership, Dr Julian has grown into a nationally commissioned NHS provider, delivering technology-enabled talking therapies across IAPT services, universities, health insurers, and occupational health. The platform’s flagship innovation—JMIS 3.0—is an end-to-end solution combining video, voice and text-based therapy with a fully integrated electronic health record (EHR), clinician dashboard, digital assessments, and tailored self-help resources.

Julian is now leading the expansion of Dr Julian’s SaaS offering, licensing the platform to other service providers to help them scale delivery, enhance efficiency, and meet rising demand for digital mental health solutions.
