Lawrie is a Consultant Anaesthetist living in Bristol and working in Gloucestershire. He has previously worked in a variety of medical roles in Nepal, Cambodia, central America, Australia and Tanzania. These have included roles within the charity, commercial and private sector.

As well as being an experienced Non-Executive Director and medical advisor, Lawrie has been involved in numerous wide-scale digital transformation processes. With expertise in Clinical Product leadership, digital innovation and end-to-end pathway transformation he is committed to impactful approaches to digital innovation that improve patient care and staff experience.

At the hybrid digital health provider DrDoctor he works as Clinical Product Lead, as well as sitting on several boards in the research and Social enterprise space, as well as doing formal and informal advisory work for a range of healthcare providers and early-stage Healthtech companies. He is passionate about providing and supporting novel models of healthcare in a patient-centred way, whilst trying to balance the challenges of a young family.
