Luke Dix
Luke is the Executive Director of Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG), with over 20 years’ experience across Western Australia’s public health system spanning clinical practice, operational leadership, and executive management.
Commencing his career in intensive care, Luke has a strong clinical foundation to his leadership, alongside formal qualifications in nursing and health leadership. His executive approach is grounded in a clear commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centred care, and system-wide performance improvement.
Luke is recognised for his authentic, values-driven leadership and his ability to lead complex health services through transformation while maintaining a strong focus on workforce engagement and organisational culture. He has a proven track record in strengthening service delivery, fostering high-performing teams, and driving sustainable improvements in patient outcomes and experience.
As a member of the South Metropolitan Health Service Area Executive Team, Luke contributes to strategic system leadership, with a focus on integration, innovation, and future-ready healthcare services. He is a strong advocate for developing leadership capability and creating environments where staff are empowered to deliver high-quality care.
Luke leads FSFHG with a commitment to excellence and collaboration under the Collectively One, Locally Led model, ensuring services remain responsive, resilient, and aligned to community needs.
