Maisoon Alukaily
Dr. Maisoon Alukaily is the Vice President of Academic Training Affairs and Research at the Eastern Health Cluster, one of the largest integrated healthcare systems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She provides executive leadership for a broad portfolio encompassing Academic Training Affairs, Medical Academy and Professional Development, and Research and Development, driving strategy to strengthen workforce capability, academic excellence, and research innovation across the organization.
In this role, Dr. Maisoon oversees the development and implementation of initiatives that advance medical education, professional development, leadership development, simulation-based learning, academic partnerships, and research capacity. Her work supports the Kingdom’s healthcare transformation by fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and evidence-informed practice.
With extensive experience in healthcare leadership, organizational development, and workforce transformation, Dr. Maisoon has led strategic initiatives that enhance the competencies of healthcare professionals and build sustainable learning ecosystems across a network of 22 hospitals and 148 primary healthcare centers. She is passionate about integrating education, research, leadership, and quality improvement to enable high-performing healthcare organizations and improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Maisoon is an advocate for lifelong learning and collaborative leadership and regularly contributes to strategic discussions on healthcare transformation, capability building, and the future of academic health systems.
