Max Marulli de Barletta
Max Marulli is an experienced design leader specialising in user-centred and inclusive design. At NHS England, he leads inclusive design across the national digital estate, supporting a community of more than 100 user-centred design professionals to embed accessibility, equity and user needs into digital health services.
Max co-designed the Product and Platforms Health Equity and Digital Inclusion Strategy for the NHS 10-Year Plan, helping to shape a more inclusive approach to digital healthcare. His expertise spans design strategy, service design, end-to-end journey mapping and digital experience design, with a strong focus on improving outcomes through user-centred innovation.
Before joining NHS England, Max led user-centred design transformation at DWP Digital and built the design function at Zipabout, where he helped deliver the UK's first national multi-channel passenger communication platform for rail. Passionate about collaboration and mentoring, he is dedicated to creating inclusive digital services that improve experiences for patients and healthcare professionals alike.
