Dr Nabeel Goheer, PhD is Chief of the Asia, Middle East and Europe (AMEE) Region at PATH, where he provides strategic leadership for one of the world's leading global health organisations, overseeing programmes that advance health innovation, strengthen health systems and improve equitable access to care across multiple regions.

With nearly 25 years of international leadership experience, Dr Goheer has built a distinguished career at the intersection of global health, technology, innovation and public policy. Before joining PATH, he spent a decade supporting the Commonwealth Secretary-General, leading strategy, governance, partnerships, innovation, digital transformation and organisational reform. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the World Bank, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), USAID and the Government of Pakistan.

A recognised thought leader in systems transformation and international development, Dr Goheer is passionate about harnessing innovation, digital technologies and cross-sector collaboration to tackle complex global health challenges. His work focuses on building resilient, equitable health systems that deliver sustainable impact and improve outcomes for communities worldwide.

Dr Goheer holds a PhD in Management from the University of Cambridge, an MPhil in Technology Policy from Cambridge and MIT, a Master's in International Development from the International University of Japan, and has completed executive studies in Macroeconomic Policy and Management at Harvard University.
