Penny Day is a digital health innovator and strategic leader working at the intersection of immersive technology and mental health. As Chief Operating Officer at XR Therapeutics, she drives strategy, R&D, operations and commercialisation to deliver scalable, clinically validated XR therapies for anxiety-related conditions.

With a strong belief in the power of technology to remove barriers and promote inclusion, Penny partners closely with the NHS, charities, and international stakeholders to embed digital tools into real-world care pathways. Her work is improving access to mental health support for some of the most underserved populations.

Beyond her role at XR Therapeutics, Penny is an advocate for inclusive design, accessibility, and building high-performing, values-driven teams. She also serves as a Trustee at Thriving Through Recreation, a charity supporting the wellbeing of children and young people through creative and recreational opportunities.
