Rachel Gemine
Dr. Rachel Gemine is a highly experienced and respected leader in the field of health research and innovation. With over 15 years of experience, she has a proven track record of success in both academic and healthcare settings.
Currently, Dr. Gemine serves as the Assistant Director of Evidence, Evaluation and Effectiveness for the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee. In this role, she is responsible for leading a team that provides evidence-based advice to support the commissioning of health services in Wales. She is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Swansea University and an Associate Editor at BMJ Leader.
Dr. Gemine has a strong background in research and has been a chief investigator on a number of studies. She has also collaborated on bids totaling over £20 million. Her research interests include qualitative and quantitative methods, trial design, study management, and innovation pathways.
