CEO, Academy of Medical Sciences

Rosalind “Roz” Campion was the Director of the Office for Life Sciences (OLS) in the UK Government, a joint unit embedding life sciences and innovation strategy across the government,  until October 2025 when she became CEO of the Academy of Medical Sciences.

Prior to leading the OLS, Roz held senior roles across government: Director for International Energy & Climate Finance at BEIS; Director of EU Exit Implementation in the Cabinet Office; Principal Private Secretary to the Home Secretary; and senior international strategy roles including at the UK Embassies in Tokyo and Washington DC.
