Salu Sreedevi is an experienced nursing professional specializing in digital safety and transformation within the healthcare sector. She began her nursing career in 2008, gaining diverse experience across various wards before focusing on ophthalmic theatre practice in 2014. 

In her current role as Interim Chief Nursing Informatics Officer, Salu leverages her clinical expertise to integrate digital solutions that enhance patient care and safety. Her commitment to digital transformation led to her appointment as Clinical Educator for Digital Safety and Transformation at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, where she focuses on educating staff about digital safety and promoting the adoption of innovative technologies. ​

Salu's dedication to advancing nursing informatics is further demonstrated through her involvement as a Shuri Digital Fellow and her leadership role as Executive Regional Lead for the British Indian Nurses Association (BINA) in the West Midlands. These positions underscore her commitment to promoting diversity and excellence in nursing.​
