Sarah Stock

Professor Sarah Stock is a women’s and newborn health innovator, Director and Board Advisor, and Program Director at Wellcome Leap. An Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Maternal–Fetal Medicine specialist with more than 20 years’ clinical experience, she works at the intersection of medicine, translational science, data innovation and global health.

As Program Director for Wellcome Leap’s In Utero programme, Sarah leads multidisciplinary innovation spanning AI-enabled prediction, diagnostics, clinical trials and implementation. A recognised authority in pregnancy research, her work has influenced clinical guidelines, health policy and practice in the UK and internationally.

Sarah is passionate about harnessing data, digital technology and research to accelerate innovation and improve outcomes for women and newborns.
