Tim is Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Sheffield and a consultant Cardiologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

He is Director of the UKRI/EPSRC South Yorkshire Digital Health Hub and Associate Director of the British Heart Foundation Data Science Centre within Health Data Research UK, where he leads the Smartphone and Wearable data theme.

Tim's career has spanned academia and industry across genetics, vascular biology, drug discovery and health data science.
